I emailed a proposal tonight to Holderread and… the worst thing that could happen is they’d say “no” and I’d be no worse off than before!
I wonder when I’ll hear back from them…

Did you know that polyamory is not about sex? Polyamory is about relationships, sharing, love, honesty, and respect (and from these things, sex does sometimes develop). Many poly folks, including myself at this time, find that they are happiest when involved with one or fewer sexualoving partners.
Here’s the definition from polyamory.org:
Polyamory means “loving more than one”. This love may be sexual, emotional, spiritual, or any combination thereof, according to the desires and agreements of the individuals involved, but you needn’t wear yourself out trying to figure out ways to fit fondness for apple pie, or filial piety, or a passion for the Saint Paul Saints baseball club into it. “Polyamorous” is also used as a descriptive term by people who are open to more than one relationship even if they are not currently involved in more than one. (Heck, some are involved in less than one.)
People often bristle at hearing my blanket offer of friendship and, at the same time, my having a clear boundary about the value of time I spend away from my family.
“Pay for friendship?! WTF?!”
Hey, friendship is the most accurate word I’ve found, for my service.
But if there is another word that other people feel less resistance to and that is still an accurate and legal portrayal of my service, I’m flexible.
Someone on amitymama is suggesting that I can call myself a “consultant” without certificiation from any institution.
Anyone know the legalities here?
Thanks!
What is green laundry? Well, I’m still working that out…
*Chemically non-toxic detergent/cleaners
*Reuse of greywater for other purposes (watering plants, etc.)
*Drying clothes in the sun or airdrying with an efficient woodstove
*Non-electric human-power washing,wringing,rinsing,rewringing
*Folk wisdom techniques for removal of stains
*Minor mending by hand or with a non-electric treadle sewing machine
*Environmentally considerate laundry tools and baskets (hand woven, fair trade, natural materials or even reclaimed woven plastic like these packers but bigger!: http://www.rractionteam.com/gallery.html)
And the other side of it is production of dirty laundry:
*Rewearing clothes until they really need a cleaning
*Same with towels used for drying clean things (like after showers)
*Changing underwear, socks, and/or aprons daily
*Using cloth wipes, dipes, and rags instead of disposable T.P, dipes, and paper towels works well and feels better on the conscience!
So, we wash fewer clothes, but more utility cloth items.
(The things that make green laundry extra wonderful is a list that I’ll compile later…)
What else? Help me out here…
My blog is popular at mamadrama (lots of traffic from there) but I do not have access to the thread to see why…
Are mamas being directed here for purposes of scoffing or are they really poly curious?! ![]()
Will we ever know, really?!
Don’t be shy!
*bock bock*!
Playful In Love,
